By promoting discussions on topics of interest to the club industry, this blog is designed to be a resource for club managers at all levels of club operations, from the General Manager to Department Heads to Line Supervisors. While the opinions in this blog will be my own, we all recognize that there are many ways to operate a club efficiently and to the desired standards of its membership. Therefore, a variety of points of view will be recognized and considered. To that end, we will periodically offer this forum to guest bloggers and industry “thought leaders” who may share their valuable insights with our readers.
Recognizing the variety of our experiences and the many Best Practices learned through that experience, we establish the following guideline for participation - mutual regard for expressed opinions based upon our common experience of working in a challenging and demanding business.
